Database Administration with MCP
Description
Learn how to manage a real Postgres database using AI — through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard that lets AI models connect directly to external tools and data. You'll set up an MCP server, connect it to a live Postgres database, and use natural language to query data, create and alter tables, and inspect schema — all through an AI client instead of writing raw SQL by hand. By the end, you'll understand how MCP works under the hood, and have a reusable pattern for managing databases with AI.
Prerequisites
- A Supabase account (free tier is enough) - Claude Code/Desktop recommended - VS Code recommended
